Welcome to The 2nd ARNI Strength Equipment Raffle!
In 2009, Mark Robinson (our supporter in Durham, UK) came up with an excellent idea. Knowing that ARNI is very much concerned with finding innovative ways of facilitating stroke survivors to perform vital strength training (stroke not only weakens but actually alters the nature of the muscle fibres), he thought: why not approach all of the strength equipment manufacturers and experts that he knows and ask them to donate items for an ARNI Raffle? The Raffle in 2009 worked out very well and funds raised were spent on items like mirror boxes, Neurogrippers, stroke rehab manuals and other items of kit that we sent directly to stroke survivors who needed them over a 4 month period. Now Mark is doing it again. This time we hope to raise £6000 to purchase a specialist hand function evaluation and rehabilitation kit for ARNI patients to use.

Before we show you the other prizes, we want to show you this full range of cool soft toys (Nuttipetz). You can choose any one you like, prioviding no other prizewinner got there first. They are very cute! They have just been designed and marketed in the US by the father of a young boy who suffered an acquired brain injury a few years ago. ARNI has travelled to the US twice (2009 and 2011) to give intensive training to his son. Please buy loads and be GENEROUS: the more you buy, the more you stack the odds in your favour to win one of the prizes... and the more you DIRECTLY help those with brain injury or stroke.
You will be sent back, via email, your 'ticket', each of which will be a number allocated to you in order of your payment.

PLEASE NOTE: Every donation/raffle ticket will go towards DIRECTLY helping a stroke survivor rehabilitate. ARNI is a UK based charity with international reach. It is a charity with 100% volunteers, and any funds raised are directly spent on intensive courses of rehab or equipment for cohort it helps. We do not have any funding sources beyond the occasional donation, and so we really need your support!
The DRAW:
The Rafle will be posted on Easter Monday 25th April 2011 and the Draw will take place on 31st May 2011
The whole draw will be filmed and placed onto YouTube, so that you can see that everything is fair as each name comes out of the hat.
If your name is first out of the hat, you can choose ANYTHING on the list! If your name is 15th out of the hat, for instance, you still have all the other excellent prizes to choose from. See how it works?! We think this is the best way to allow everyone to get what they most want from the group of prizes.
After the Draw
ARNI will contact winners in sequence, and you may choose which of the 60 items you like out of the list!
DELIVERY: ARNI and the companies involved will send out each item to the winner: FREE DELIVERY in the UK (with the exception of the 1970's EZ bar and vintage plates). International winners would only be required to pay for shipping on the heavy items should they choose these. Everything else is free postage/shipping.
